I have times when I'm working on an idea or listening to a friend talk about an idea that sounds good. Of course the next step should be taking action. It seems that the taking action part is where the ball gets dropped. So I have to ask myself, am I prepared to take action or am I getting ready to get ready? Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I realize this an old post but I chuckled so when I read it. I moved to Texas 25 years ago and it has always bothered me that people are "fixin'" to do things. I think you just defined it for me. Finally I get, when your "fixin'" to do something your just getting ready to be ready. Aaha! I've been enlightened.

I love all the pools and water to play in. Since we have our own water plant we can have pure water....and maybe waterfalls by the pools, and hot tubs. I would also like one of those endless pools by my residence. One of those things that provide the continuous water current to swim against....And shade trees. Lots of the big leafed shade trees. Since we have maintenance people they can keep the pools clean.

Le " Compound "sur la mer et les montagnes is getting better and better ... we need a theater ... and a night club ... Japanese, Italian, french, restaurants... please no fast food... nobody will be in a hurry there...

the voice of truth Bribri. In Italy, Pepsi is labeled as a "analcolonica" in other words, a laxative effect. It was distinctly unpleasant.
While visiting Koh Samui Thailand, my then BF went to some extraordinary lenghts to obtain some Pepsi for me at an exclusive restaurant we were going to.( He managed get ice as well )
Throughly delighted in his thoughtfullness, took a huge long gulp. I wanted tO PUKE it was so horrid ! I did my best to show my appreciation and did drink it all.
Later though, I did confess to him that the stuff was awful.
We went back to the Bintangs and bottled water after that.
